Below we are preset a little tutorials how to crochet this star.

Let’s start!

At the firs make hairpin lace strip of  78 loops on the left and right prongs, or 155 double / sigle crochet. How to make the strip you can see in the last post  Hairpin Lace: Shell motif.

In the next steps ( 2 - 5 steps) use a needle and thread to collect all the loopsof the right prong  together.

Inesrt hook into loop and work: *1 double / single crochet in st of strip, 10 chains, insert hook into first 13 loops and work 3 double / single crochet, 10 chans, 3 double / single crochet, 10 chains, repeat from* 5 times. ( See steps 6 - 8).

At the end of this round insert hook into sts of strip and first double / single crochet and work slip stitch.

The diagram of  hairpin star motif you can download here. The motifs are connected together by the double / single crochet. For that after 3 dc / sc and 5 ch  work  1 dc/sc in arch of 10 ch another star motif, then work 5 ch and 3 dc / sc.

Good luck! :-)
