Begin with 3 chains for turning (step 1). 2 
Then yarn over hook (step 2). -

Insert hook into fourth stitch to left of hook (step 3). 4 
Yarn over hook and draw through a loop, ( 3 loops on hook)(steps 4, 5). -

Yarn over hook and draw through 2 loops on hook (steps 6, 7). -

Yarn over hook and draw through remaining 2 loops on hook (1 loop remains on hook) (steps 8, 9). -

For next treble / double crochet: isert hook into next stitch and work steps 2-9.
