Half treble / Half double crochet (h.tr / h.dc)

Begin with 2 chains for turning (step 1),

then yarn over hook (step 2),

insert hook into third stitch to left of hook (step 3),

yarn over hook and draw through a loop, ( 3 loops on hook) (4, 5 steps),

yarn over hook and draw through 3 loops on hook (1 loop remains on hook) steps 6, 7).

For next half treble / half double crochet: insert hook into next stitch to left of the hook and work 2-7 steps.
