Double crochet / Single crochet (dc / sc)

Begin with 2 chain for turning (step 1),

then insert the hook into the second stitch to left of hook (step 2),

yarn over hook and draw through a loop, ( 2 loops on hook) (steps 3, 4),

yarn over hook (step 5)

and draw through 2 loops on hook (1 loop remains on hook) (steps 6).

For next double crochet / single crochet: insert hook into next stitch to left of the hook and work 3-5 steps.
